On May 19, the team at Digital Wholesale Solutions (DWS), the leading partner platform for IT, communications and cloud, will be embarking on a sponsored hike along the Jurassic Coast. The company aims to raise a minimum of £10,000 for Dementia UK via a combination of hiker, partner, and company fundraising. CityFibre has also thrown its support behind the event with generous sponsorship and five of its team joining the expedition.
Stretching from Exmouth in East Devon to Studland Bay in Dorset, the Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site that spans close to 100 miles of stunning coastline along the southern shores of England. 50 members of the DWS team will tackle steep hills and rugged clifftops along a particularly challenging, 14.5-mile stretch of the trail, starting at Kimmeridge Bay, and ending at Swanage Beach in Dorset.
Dementia UK is a specialist dementia nurse charity. It provides continual support and development for its nurses who provide expert, life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia. As dementia specialists, Dementia UK’s nurses help families manage complex needs, giving consideration both to the person living with dementia and the people around them.
