Agreement expands critical power offering for data centre channel partners Arrow Electronics today announced a new Pan EMEA distribution agreement with ABB Electrification that brings ABB’s uninterruptible power supply portfolio and associated electrification technologies to Arrow’s channel community. The agreement builds on the long-standing relationship between Arrow and ABB in the distribution of electronic components, with Arrow supplying ABB. The supply agreement will create closer alignment between the two companies supporting pan European IT projects, especially in data centres and enterprise infrastructure. Under this arrangement, Arrow will distribute ABB’s uninterruptible power supply solutions across key EMEA markets, with the range expected to broaden over time to include additional electrification products designed for demanding operational environments. Channel partners will be able to integrate these power resilience technologies alongside Arrow’s established portfolio across compute, management and security, providing a more complete set of options for projects involving critical infrastructure and modern IT environments. Mike Worby Mike Worby, head of strategic alliances at Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business in EMEA, said, “This agreement strengthens our long-running collaboration with ABB and brings important new capabilities to our channel partners. Power protection is a vital part of any modern IT design and the addition of ABB uninterruptible power supplies means our customers can work with a broader and more complete set of solutions. It is a strong addition to our existing portfolio and creates new opportunities for channel partners to support their customers’ evolving needs.” ABB’s technology, including its latest uninterruptible power supply systems, is engineered to support secure uptime and energy efficient operation. Combined with Arrow’s local presence and full solution capabilities, this collaboration will help deliver scalable and sustainable IT infrastructure across Europe. Customers will benefit from reliable and energy efficient systems that support operational continuity and sustainability goals, with availability set to extend into additional countries and a broader range of offerings over time.
